RIBCHESTER CARELINE
Ribchester community brightening up the village with positivity.
The Ribchester Careline is a Community Group helping the elderly and other vulnerable residents. It has been particularly active during the CoronaVirus pandemic, delivering prescriptions, shopping and newspapers as well as organising family activities such as the butterfly trail and artwork display on the Ribchester Rovers Football Club railings.
The elderly and vulnerable have been unable to leave their homes so rely on nearby neighbours and friends.
Ribchester Careline Group wanted to set up a central phone number to allow residents to request assistance from the local volunteers. This is where Renov8 stepped in to assist. Renov8 set up a dedicated phone number, and is sponsoring the ongoing costs to enable requests to be managed via the Careline number, and to allow locals in Ribchester to abide by the “Stay Home, Stay Safe” request from the Government.
