CHILDREN TODAY
TREK TRANSYLVANIA
In support of the charity, Children Today, Renov8 have donated £1,500 to send Hugh McCaw to Transylvania on a six day hiking challenge.
The money donated will enable Hugh McCaw, the founder of Children Today, to set out on the adventure, ‘Trek Transylvania’ to raise funds for young people and children with disabilities. The event will take place later this year and will see Hugh lead a group of walkers through the stunning landscapes of the Bucegi and Carpathian mountains, as well as Piatra Crailui National Park in Romania.
The trek of a lifetime, will raise money to fund specialised equipment such as adapted trikes and specialised car seats to help give young people with disabilities increased independence and the best possible quality of life.
Children Today is reliant on public donations and fundraising to continue as they receive no funding from the Government or NHS, so events like these are vital to help build up the much-needed funds to continue to support children with disabilities.
Hugh McCaw is calling for local walking enthusiasts to join him on the trek. If you are interested in participating or would like to help raise funds for Children Today, click to learn more.
